"Future Events Affect the Future"

Film: P;an 9 from Outer Space (1959)

Alias: Eros and Tanna

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Zombies are on the prowl! And it's all because of...aliens? Oh yes, intelligent life believes that the undead will be the undoing of mankind. And bear in mind, this was the plan 9. 1-8 were what now?

History: You know what? We're just going to make up the first eight plans off the top of our heads. In order, non-stop reruns of "The Adventures of Paddy the Pelican", days and days of doing the can-can, Kronos the energy-eater, an asteroid made out of discarded candy wrappers, forcing the radios of the world to play nothing but "Diana" by Paul Anka, banning alcohol for a second time, a giant hot-dog monster, and just blowing the planet up. But the aliens of Space Station 7, a duo named Eros and Tanna, settled on just reanimating the dead to take out humanity. For they feared that man's advancements in warfare and weaponry would lead them to discover the immense power of the "Solaronite", a superweapon capable of destroying suns and the universe itself. How anyone knew what a weapon that didn't exist yet could do was anyone's guess, but the point is that these aliens had little faith in us to not destroy everything.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After a scuffle with a human, Eros is knocked out cold, damaging the main saucer in the process. Tanna flies off with him, but the saucer blows up from all the damage. The zombies, now free of the alien's control, instantly turn into skeletons.

Powers/Abilities: The aliens have technology that can reanimate and control dead tissue. Their ships are also bulletproof.

Weakness: Anything conventional. The tech can also be faulty at times.

Scariness Factor: 1-If the aliens had actually resurrected more than just three or four undead and actually bring some weapons of their own, they might have actually posed a threat. Eros also comes off as a whiny, petulant, self-entitled bully rather than a credible emissary, as well.

Trivia: -Bela Legosi was given top billing despite dying three years earlier, mainly because he was shown via unrelated footage and someone completely different playing as him. No malicious intent on Ed Wood's part was part of this, thankfully.

-The saucers were just model kits produced in 1956.

A legend is born.

Okay, can we go back to her not actually looking dead?

I'll just never get the appeal of Tor Johnson...maybe.

"Vampira, would you like to join me in contemplating our acting careers?"
You'll be seeing a whole lot of honest covers here.

The zombies get an upgrade, while the saucers...DON'T.

Bela's just wondering if this isn't going to end in regret.

Seriously, lady, lay off the corset!

Our two alien fools, off to inconviniance the world.

Complete with Tor's seal of approval!

There we go!

The Master looks as interested in this as we are.

From rising corpse to beached whale in this scene.
People find a new reason to be jealous of Bela Lugosi.

I'm sorry, but can we have the full quote?

The art matches the product, at least.

We can defeat them! Just cut the strings!

Refrain, perverts. Refrain...
